Kusuri Eco Pure Algae control
Kusuri Eco Pure dosed weekly will reduce blanket weed and nuisance algae. Kusuri works by reducing Nitrate, Phosphate, degrades sludge & improving water quality dramatically. Water clarity and the general pond environment will be more stable and healthier for your fish, plants and wild life.
Eco Pure is a biological product that has beneficial strains of denitrifying bacteria bio-fixed, to a dense powder catalyst making it completely safe for fish, plants & wildlife.
Treatment: In severe cases of blanketweed we recommend dosing with Kusuri Gold first, then a weekly maintenance dose of Eco Pure will keep your pond sparkling.
We service ponds, as part of this we start dosing Eco Pure in the spring before Algae starts to grow and continue to dose throughout the season. This keeps algae away and reduces pond and filter servicing.
Dosage: Use cup supplied in container, add 1or 2 heaped cups (50grms approx) per 1000 gallons of pond water, mix measured quantity into a bucket of pond water Stir, then apply around edge of pond area, every week. Ensure all powder and granules are added to pond.
Maintenance dose: Use cup supplied, add two level cups per 4,546 litres (1000 gallons) of pond water. Add dose to a clean watering can and mix with pond water. Apply this solution around the edges of the pond, once a week.
Reduction Dose: On heavy growth areas add the dry powder directly to the Blanketweed/string algae growth around outer edges of the pond. Use up to 8 level cups per 4,546 litres (1000 gallons). Kusuri Eco Pure is most efficient at temperatures over 15°C/60°F.
3kg of Eco Pure is enough for approximately 9 weekly treatments of 22,730 litres (5,000 gallons).
All sizes of Kusuri Eco Pure include a handy dose cup. One level dose cup holds 27.5g of Kusuri Eco Pure.
Store Kusuri Eco Pure in original container, ensure the container is sealed after each use. Store in a cool frost free environment. Use within 12 months of opening.
