RP Nitrate Remover is a premium-grade, NITRATE selective, ion-exchange resin. It removes Nitrite, NITRATE and traces of Phosphate quickly and safely from aquarium water.
PURPOSE: Nitrate Remover helps reduce nuisance algae by starving it of its primary food source, nitrate. It uses a premium grade ion exchange resin which works in a wide range of pH parameters and temperature conditions. Each pack contains 3x 100g pods, sufficient for up to 350 litres of water.
FEATURES: Can be used for up to 10 weeks. Highly resistant to organic fouling. Clear, algae free water. Can be used with other RP products. Can be regenerated.
Nitrate remover is ideal for use in Planted tank setups, Rift lake bio types, Cold water tanks, it will enhance the water quality in every system it is used in.
SUITABILITY: Great for heavily stocked or over stocked aquariums. In new aquariums, add after 2 to 3 weeks. Removal of Nitrite & Nitrate spikes. Can be used with other RP products. Suitable for Tropical and Coldwater.
SYSTEMS: For use in external canister filters and some large internal filters. RP Nitrate Remover MUST be placed flat and not squashed up, (to maximise exposure to water flow) after biological to function correctly. Can be used in with other RP products. In mature aquariums it is recommended that you clean the filter before installing the pods.
APPLICATION: 1 pod for 0 - 150 litres, 2 pods for 150 - 250 litres, 3 pods for 250 - 350 litres.
